Privacy Policy
This site is run by Michael Nazari in Phoenix, AZ. I keep things simple. This page explains what information the site collects, what I do with it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- This site has no accounts, no login, and no sign-up forms.
- I use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited. That is the only tracking on the site.
- Products, the free resume template, the newsletter, and my social accounts live on other companies' platforms. Those companies have their own privacy policies.
- I run a small personal tool called tiktok-to-shorts that copies my own TikTok videos to my own YouTube channel. It uses YouTube API Services and touches only my accounts. Details are in the section on that tool below.
- I never sell your information.
What this site collects
Analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site, such as which pages are popular and roughly where visitors come from. Google sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart. The data I see is grouped and does not identify you by name. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or any ad-blocking extension.
Hosting logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare sees basic connection details when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
If you email me, I will have your email address and whatever you wrote. I use it only to reply to you. I do not add you to any list because you emailed me.
What this site does not collect
- No sign-up or contact forms, so the site itself never asks for your name or email.
- No payment details. Purchases happen on other platforms, described below.
- No advertising networks or retargeting pixels.
- Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service.
Links to other platforms
Much of what I offer runs on services other companies operate. When you click through to one of them, that company's privacy policy applies, not this one.
- Beacons hosts the free resume template, the digital products, and the A.I. Job Search Sprint. If you download or buy something there, Beacons collects the details for that order. Beacons privacy policy.
- Substack hosts the newsletter. If you subscribe there, Substack holds your email address. Substack privacy policy.
- Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube host my videos. Their policies apply on their sites and apps.
- Passionfroot hosts the media kit for brand partners.
The tiktok-to-shorts tool
What it is
tiktok-to-shorts is a small personal command line tool that Michael Nazari runs on his own computer. When a new video is posted to the TikTok account @findfulfillingwork, the tool downloads that video and uploads it to Michael's own YouTube channel as a Short, with the same caption. Michael is the only user. The tool is not offered to anyone else and it is not installed on anyone else's device.
Use of YouTube API Services
This application uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you are agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's Privacy Policy explains how Google handles data and is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The application uses only the YouTube Data API v3 videos.insert endpoint, with the single permission scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload. It uploads videos to the owner's own YouTube channel.
It does not read comments, subscriber information, watch history, analytics, or any data about other channels or other people.
It does not display any YouTube data to anyone.
What data the application stores
The application stores a login token on the owner's own computer so it can upload without signing in each time. It also stores a small local text file that lists which videos have already been uploaded, so it does not upload the same video twice. This file contains only the video identifiers. No personal data is collected from anyone, and nothing is stored on any server.
How data is shared
Nothing is shared with third parties. The application does not sell data, does not use data for advertising, and does not send data anywhere other than to YouTube in order to upload the owner's own videos.
How to remove access and delete data
Because the tool has one user who is also the owner, that person controls all of its access and data. Access granted to the application can be reviewed and removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (also reachable at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Once access is removed, the application can no longer upload. The login token and the local list of uploaded videos can be deleted at any time by removing those files from the computer where the tool runs. Videos already uploaded to YouTube can be edited or deleted directly in YouTube Studio.

I use the little that is collected to:
- Keep the site running and secure.
- See which content is useful so I can make more of it.
- Reply when you reach out.
I do not sell, rent, or trade your information with anyone.
Your choices
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works fine without them.
- Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or an ad blocker to stop analytics.
- Email me to ask what information I have about you, or to ask me to delete it. For data held by Beacons, Substack, or another platform, contact that platform directly, and I am happy to point you to the right place.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, email me and I will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If I change how the site handles information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
